The company was founded in 1937 by Eddie Allard, the grandfather of the current CEO. In 1992, the Allard Nazarian Group Inc., which is owned by the Allard and Nazarian families, acquired the company as part of a merger with several of their other businesses. GSM is now approaching 80 years providing integrated manufacturing services to some of the top companies in the world.
